B. Installation of the Transfer Valve
R (1) FOR 27QM, 29QM do the steps that follow:
(a)
Push the transfer valve (5) into the transfer valve drive (6). Install the transfer valve (5) on RIB15 and hold it in position.
(b)
Install the bolts (1). NOTE : You must bond one of the bolts (1) (Ref. TASK 28-15-41-
____ 991-001) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-002).
(c)
Make sure that the splines on the transfer valve (5), are fully engaged with the splines on the transfer valve drive (6).
(d)
Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-007) over the ends of the bolts.
R (2) FOR 28QM, 30QM do the steps that follow:
(a)
Push the transfer valve (5) into the transfer valve drive (6). Install the transfer valve (5) on RIB15 and hold it in position.
(b)
Put the bracket (2) in position on RIB15. NOTE : Bond the bracket (2) using the Direct Contact Method

(c)
Install the bolts (1). NOTE : You must bond one of the bolts (1) (Ref. TASK 28-15-41-
____ 991-001) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-002).
(d)
Make sure that the splines on the transfer valve (5), are fully engaged with the splines on the transfer valve drive (6).
(e)
Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-007) over the ends of the bolts.
