Remove the air conditioning packs 10HM (11HM) from the aircraft (Ref. TASK 21-52-41-000-001).
(2)
Remove the pack flow-control valves 8HB (11HB) from the aircraft (Ref. TASK 21-51-51-000-001).
(3)
Remove the air duct upstream of the flow control valve 8HB (11HB) (Ref. TASK 21-51-51-000-002).
(4)
Removal of the hot trim-air duct
(a)
Remove the nut (117), the washer (118), the bolt (101) and the bonding strap (119) from the duct (100).
(b)
Remove the nut (110), the washer (111), the bolt (104) and the bonding strap (112) from the duct (100).
(c)
Remove the nut (106), the washer (105) and the bolt (109) from the clamp (108).
(d)
Remove clamp (108).
(e)
Remove the clamp (102) from the duct (100).
(f)
Remove the clamp (122) and the insulation half shells (121) from the bracket (120).
(g)
Remove the nuts (116), the washers (117) and the bolts (113).
(h)
Disconnect the support rods (114) from the duct (100).
(i)
Remove the duct (100).
(j)
Remove and discard the preformed packings (103), (203) and the O-rings (107).
(5)
Remove the overheat detection loops A and B from the heat shields and from the APU bleed-air ducts (Ref. TASK 36-22-18-000-001).

Remove the APU bleed-air ducts (123) and (124) (Ref. TASK 36-12-41-000-001).

Disconnection of electrical harness CAUTION : MAKE MATCH MARKS ON ALL THE ELECTRICAL WIRES BEFORE YOU
_______ DISCONNECT THEM. INCORRECT CONNECTION OF WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Disconnect and remove the electrical harness at the air conditioning compartment in Zone 191/192 (FR35 to FR41).

A. Removal of the Vapor Seal NOTE : Identify the positions of different lengths of screws and studs
____ before you start the removal. Also identify the positions of the attach frames and the lateral and longitudinal attach fittings.
(1) Remove the LH Vapor Seal-Membrane
(a)
Remove the nuts (2) and the washers (3) from the studs (4) around the heat shield (5) and from some positions at the attach frames (12), (13), (14) and (15).
