A. Safety Precautions
(1) Obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-910-001). Subtask 28-13-43-010-050
B. Get Access
(1) Remove the access panel 148FB on the right side from the belly fairing (Ref. TASK 53-35-13-000-001).

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Drain Mast
(1) Loosen the nut (8) connecting the APU vent-pipe (1) to the straight union (7).
NOTE : Make sure that the APU vent-pipe (1) attachment is loose.

Remove the screws (4) from the drain mast (5). NOTE : The drain mast stays in position because the sealant holds it

in its position.
(3)
Remove the drain mast (5) from the fuselage.
(4)
Remove and discard the O-ring (3) from the center tank vent-pipe (2).
(5)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
