B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Defuel the applicable fuel tanks (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable fuel tanks (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

C. Get Access WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR DOORS ARE

CLEAR.
(1)
Open the LH MLG door (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2)
Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005835) is installed on the LH MLG door actuator.
(3)
Put the access platform below the zone 147.
(4)
Remove the access panel 147AZ (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(5)
Put the access platform below the zone 540.
(6)
Remove the access panel 540AB (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-001).
(7)
Open the surge door 540BZ.
(8)
Install the HOOK-COVER (RIB2-SURGE DOORS) (98D57004014000) to hold the surge door open.

A. Inspection of the Overpressure Protector 96QM CAUTION : DO NOT APPLY PRESSURE TO THE SAFETY DISC BECAUSE IT WILL EASILY

BREAK.
(1) Examine the overpressure protector (4) to make sure that:
-
there is no damage to the wire mesh (2)
-
there is no damage to the safety disc (3)
-
there is no corrosion
-the sealant on and around the nuts (1) and the head of the bolts
(5) is in the correct condition
-there is no damage to the wire mesh basket (6).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Remove the HOOK-COVER (RIB2-SURGE DOORS) and carefully close the surge door 540BZ.
(3)
Install the access panel 540AB (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-400-001).
(4) Install the access panel 147AZ (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-400-001). Subtask 28-12-41-650-054
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Refuel, defuel or transfer fuel as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003), (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-869-001).
