You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-001) when you do work in a fuel tank.
(2)
Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell persons not to operate the MLG doors.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the center tank is defueled (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Make sure that the remaining fuel is drained from the center tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(3)
Make sure that the LH MLG door is open (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4)
Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005835) is installed on the LH MLG door actuator.
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is below the access panel 147AZ.
(6)
Make sure that the access panel 147AZ is removed (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-000-001).

(1)
Hold the clamp (2) on the end of the pipe (1) and install the check-valve (3), with the flat face horizontal.
(2)
Move the clamp (2) on to the check-valve (3) and tighten the clamp (2).

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the access panel 147AZ, (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-400-001).
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Close the LH MLG door (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-410-001). Subtask 28-12-44-650-060
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Refuel, defuel or transfer fuel as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003), (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001) or (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-869-001).
