C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the applicable fuel tank is defueled (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(3)
Make sure that the access platform is below the applicable zone 540 (640).
(4)
Make sure that the applicable access panels are removed (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-002):

A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the component interfaces and/or the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Apply FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to the O-ring (3) and the O-ring (4).
(5)
Install the new O-ring(s) (3) and/or (4) into the transfer valve (5).
(6)
Turn the input shaft of the transfer valve (5), to align it with the transfer valve drive (6).

B. Installation of the Transfer Valve
(1)
Push the transfer valve (5) into the transfer valve drive (6). Install the transfer valve (5) on RIB15 and hold it in position.
