and built in adjustable ramp were used to control the movement of
the conveyor for optimum accuracy. Finally, a remote wireless
unit with a hard wired pendant back up from LODAR was used to
provide the operator with maximum vision during use and a
secondary backup system.
REQUIREMENT: Hose Swaging Machine with a submerged Pump /
motor set delivering a dual flow to a maximum pressure of 700 bar.
The ram is designed for use up to 700 bar and has a stroke of 500mm
and the pendant control allows the operator to operate the machine
from remote areas.
REQUIREMENT: Twin pump and motor set with pumped
filtration system. This power pack has control valves for 16
independent functions and runs on Water Glycol fire resistant fluid.
REQUIREMENT: A fixed displacement pumped power pack on a
machine producing car seat slides.
This pack has a monitored Spool valve providing one channel of
safety for the machine.
Beachy Head Lighthouse
Due to erosion, Beachy Head Lighthouse was in serious danger of being lost to the sea
forever. The only way of saving this historical structure was to physically move it inland away
from the cliff edge. Abbey Underpinning were contracted for this task and immediately
contacted CFP to supply the rams and power pack. These were used to accurately control the
pull load and rate, ensuring the job was completed successfully and the lighthouse saved.
Bespoke Power pack Examples
REQUIREMENT: Pack with hours run meter for accurate
servicing intervals, control valve handle position locking,
operator pressure adjustment, diesel tank with sufficient fuel for
16 hours running and two equal flows to 100 bar.
