Pressure Testing System
Designed and built exclusively by CFP, the high pressure intensifier enables users to deliver
fluid pressures up to 700 bar at a single stroke. Suitable for use with test mediums of oil or
emulsions, the CFP intensifier is the ideal choice for pressure testing of cylinders, valves,
containers and vessels where pressure is of critical importance in the testing function.
Producing controlled pressures steadily and smoothly without shocks or variances, with an
accuracy of +-.25% and a smooth pressure change you can accurately and safely check
pressure at any point during the test cycle.

Using accurately controlled hydraulic pressure at sub 250 bar levels, the intensifier applies
this to a pressure intensification device. This produces secondary pressures up to a ratio of 3:1
of the original hydraulic pressure.
By manipulating fluid in this way, the intensifier can operate
with both oil or water mediums. Test volumes up to 2.5 litres are
available with either manual or electronic pressure controls.
All intensifiers are built specifically for purpose and to enable
correct design, the following information is required:
- Test fluid required
- Maximum test pressure required
- Maximum test fluid volume
- Number of tests required per day
- Duration of test required
- Power source required/available
- Type of pressure control (manual or electronic)
- Pressure readout required (gauge or electronic)

REQUIREMENT: Pack to drive and engine block test rig for major car
manufacturer.
A twin pump and motor set was supplied.
REQUIREMENT: Power pack driven by a Petrol engine to
be used to test the load required to insert rail clips for a test
laboratory.
REQUIREMENT: 50 packs to power Rubber Extrusion machines
for a major manufacturer of Rubber car components. Includes
electronic proportional flow and pressure control on the pump,
monitored spool valve to conform to Annex 4 machine
regulations and a purpose built valve manifold block.
REQUIREMENT: To drive a load test ram for up to 24 hours. A
15 Kw Power Pack with electrical controls at Our customers
works prior to installation. The valves ensure that the extend and
retract stroke of the ram are at the same speed and load.
Bespoke Power pack Examples
Last year Airbus contacted Digitron Translift and King Trailers to
design, develop and build a hydraulically operated trailer to carry,
load and unload the completed wings for the A400M onto a
specially built A380 to transport the wings from their
manufacturing facility at Felton, UK to Toulouse where they
would be fitted to the A400M.
CFP provided the hydraulic packs to control the trailers and
commissioned a custom built pair of ALPATEK 4kw, 24dc
