ICAO Airport Code. G signifies gravel runway.
Aerodrome Charts carriage on Long Haul aircraft is far from simple. It is commonplace that boxes will contain up to three colours,
denoting that charts are carried on multiple aircraft types, or in duplicate on a particular aircraft. eg: A red and green box would signify
a chart is present in the 777ER/747-400 back-up manuals, and also in a trip kit.

Key to Tables
For the majority of maps, there will be a corresponding table given supplementary information on all the airports shown on the map.
However, for some maps, there is insufficient room to show tabular data for all the airports. This is most noticeable on the USA maps,
and missing tabular data will be confined to those airports near the edge of the map. If tabular information for such an airport is not
present, it will be present in an adjacent map and table.

Landing Performance Data
Landing Performance data for the 777 is complicated by the 2 variants. The list of airfields for which landing performance data is
carried for the 2 variants is similar but not identical, and hence, there are 2 columns devoted to the 777 in the tables.
Landing Performance data for the A320 family is also somewhat complicated. The A320 and A321 operate out of LHR and have the
same data. The A319 operates out of LHR and LGW, and carries additional landing data pertinent to the LGW routes. Hence, some of
the European tables now have two columns for the Airbus, one for the A319, and the other for the A320/A321.
Currently the LCY A318 carries performance data for the same airfields for which it carries charts, but with one exception -
performance data is also carried for EGDL (Lyneham).
Maximum Landing weights for the three long haul types have been derived from PCN, LCN, ISWL etc. These are theoretical weights
based solely on runway strength and are not aircraft limits. Where -1 is given for max landing weight, this indicates that runway
bearing strength is unknown.

Introduction
This manual was made to inform the A320 pilots how they should proceed
and what steps they have to do before entering the airplane. Like in real life,
all pilots comply with very important procedures before going in the aircraft,
like, checking the flight plan and meteorology.
So if you read this manual, certainly your flight will run more safely and more
enjoyable.
In this manual you will find the most important steps to take before flight.
Flight Planning
The first thing pilots should do, once they receive their assignment, is to get a
Flight Plan for the respective flight. It’s not easy for a virtual pilot to get a
good one with all needed information. Now I’ll show you how to get and
understand a very professional flight plan for flight simulation.
