4.5.2.2.3 Save document
The functionality “Save” enables user to save the document on the local repository. If
you close the Arbortext Editor window without saving your document, all your work is
definitively lost. You can save an invalid document but you will have to edit it again if
you want to check it in.
Moreover, it is not possible to save a badly formed document. The editor will help you
to correct these types of errors.
Activation condition:
The document must have been modified or the functionality is disabled.

4.5.2.2.4 Validate document
The functionality “Validate” document enables users to check the validity of the
Document Unit against its Document Type Definition.
Activation condition:
None
Description:
The user may activate the “Validate” functionality by the toolbar button .
When the document is not valid a separated window is created list of integrity errors,
each error providing an hyperlink to the place where the error was detected in the
editor window.

4.5.2.2.5 Undo / Redo
The functionality “Undo” and “Redo” enable users to undo or redo their last actions.
This functionality depends on the context of the edited document. A list of action that
may be undone or re-done is available in a popup list.
Activation condition:
“Nothing to Undo”(RESP Redo), the edition undo (RESP Redo) is
disabled and the Undo (RESP Redo) button has no action
Description:
The user may activate the “Undo” or “Redo” functionalities, and corresponding lists of
actions to be undone or redone by the toolbar buttons & of the Editor.
4.5.2.2.6 Cut
The functionality “Cut” enables users to cut a selected node and its children off the
structural document.
Note that it is not possible to cut the root element of the document.
Activation condition:
The action depends on the grammar of the type of Document Unit.
A node must be selected (not the root node)
Description:
The user may activate the “Cut” functionality by the toolbar button of the Editor.
The functionality cuts the selected node and its children.
4.5.2.2.7 Copy
The functionality “Copy” enables users to copy a selected node into the document.
Activation condition:
The action depends on the grammar of the type of Document Unit.
A node must be selected.
