4.2.1.6 Tree functionalities
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated with one of those available profiles:
• Manual responsible profile
• Author profile
The Explorer Manager is displayed.
4.2.1.6.1 Collapse
The functionality “Collapse” enables the users to collapse the Explorer Manager tree from the
selected item.
Description:
The user may activate the “Collapse” functionality by the menu item “Collapse”.

The Explorer tree collapses from the selected item. Any child of the selected item is visible.

4.2.1.6.2 Expand
The functionality “Expand” enables users to expand the Explorer Manager tree from the
selected item.
Description:
The authorized user may activate the “Expand” functionality by the menu item “Expand”.

The Explorer tree expands from the selected item. All children of the selected item are
visible.
4.2.1.6.3 Toggle collapse/expand
The functionality “Toggle collapse/expand” enables users to change the state of the selected
item. If the item is collapsed it will be expand and if it is expanded it will collapse.
Description:
The user may activate the “Toggle collapse/expand” functionality by the menu item “Toggle
collapse/expand”.

4.2.1.6.4 Refresh
The functionality “Refresh” synchronizes the locale information with the server information on
expanded items.
Description:
The user may activate the “Refresh” functionality by the menu item “Refresh”.

Open items in the Manual Explorer are refreshed.
4.2.1.7 File functionalities
4.2.1.7.1 New structural element
The functionality “New structural element” enables users to insert a new element:
• A Folder,
• A Group,
• Or an Invariant.
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated with one of those available profiles:
Manual responsible profile
Author profile
The Manual Explorer is displayed on an opened manual.
The Working tab is selected.
