1.4.1 Function “Login”
The functionality “Login” enables users to authenticate and access functionalities according
to their profile.
Activation condition:
The Flight Ops Doc Manager application must be started.
Description:
When the Flight Ops Doc Manager application is started, the user accesses to the dialog
box “Login”.
He types in login and password information.

Empty fields are not permitted. If login or password is not well formed or the user does not
exist in the database, an error message appears into the header of the dialog box “Login”,
when the user validates it and tries connecting with the login button , mnemonic or
accelerator (enter key).

The user can choose to exit Flight Ops Doc Manager application with the cancel button
, mnemonic or accelerator (escape key).
1.4.2 Function “Change password”
The functionality “Change password” enables the connected user to change his password.
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated.
Root user can accesses, him only, this functionality to modify his own password.
Description:
The authorized user may activate the “Change password” functionality by the menu item
“Change password”, or by the mnemonic (“Alt + W” key).

In the “Change password” dialog box, old password, new password and password
confirmation must be entered.
Empty fields are not permitted.
1.4.3 Function “Log as new user”
The functionality “Log as new user” enables the connected user to disconnect from the
Flight Ops Doc Manager application. He will be able to log as another user.
Activation condition:
The Flight Ops Doc Manager application must be started and user must be logged in.
Description:
The authenticated user launches, in the Flight Ops Doc Manager main menu, the logout
functionality. A confirmation dialog box shows up. If the user selects “Yes”, the user is
logged out and the system displays the login form to allow the user to reconnect.

1.4.4 Function “Logout and exit”
The functionality “Logout and Exit” enables the connected user to disconnect and exit from
the Flight Ops Doc Manager application.
