The user selects one of the references in the list and click on “Insert” button. The new
reference is inserted in the Document.

4.5.1.4 Attribute generation
4.5.1.4.1 “Code” & “lid” generation
This functionality enables a user automatically generating new “code”, “id” and “lid“
values for elements contained in the edited document unit. This function generates code,
id and lid that are valid.
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated with one of those available profiles:
• Manual responsible profile
• Author profile
A Document Unit is opened in the Document Unit Editor.

The Document is in the “Tree view” representation.
A node, except root, with a code, lid or id is selected.
Description:
The user may select in the Document Unit Editor the “Tree view” representation of the
Document.
In the tree view the user can select for example a “descbody” node that has both code
and lid attributes.
The user shall click in the “Attributes Node Panel” on the “generate” button of the
qualified attribute “code”. A new code is generated.
The user clicks on “generate” button of the qualified attribute “lid”. A new lid is generated
on the same principle.

4.5.2 Edit XML DU Content with Arbortext editor
When Arbortext Editor is selected (See §1.5.2 Preferences Functionalities), it is used to edit
a DU
