4.1.2 Function “History tab”
The “History” tab of the Manual Manager lists the freeze and dispatch downloads with their
associated information in a dedicated tree.
It permits to download the PDF, RTF and FOCT manuals, and the airline R load package.
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated with the following profile:
• Manual responsible profile
• Author profile
Description:
When the user clicks on the “Download” button, user can select the directory where the
manual will be copied.

Note: For manuals in airline-R that shall be loaded both on Flight Ops Domain and Maintenance
Domain (i.e. MEL, CDL), if only one Part Number has been created, the same load is present in
Maintenance Demain and Flight Ops domain directory.

4.1.3 Function “New Manual”
The functionality “New Manual” enables users to create a new empty manual in order to
manage the data of a given manual for a given aircraft type.

The functionality “New Manual” is also called “Create Manual From Scratch”.
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated with the following profile:
• Manual responsible profile
Description:
The authorized user may activate “New Manual” functionality by the menu item
“File>New>Manual”.

Alternatively, the authorized user may activate the “New Manual” functionality by the toolbar
button of the Manual manager window.
The functionality shows the corresponding dialog box “New Manual”.
