An invariant is a way to say: “I have something to insert here that depends on an
effectivity”. An invariant is a structural element that only contains Document Unit.
If the “funcode” of the invariant is not empty, it prefixes the invariant title.
4.2.1.2.4.1 View Invariant Content
The content tab shows all the document units contained in this invariant with the
following information:
• Identifier: contains the code
• Title: displays the title of the invariant
• Customized: contains “Yes” if the document unit customized (renamed,
moved, content modified), “No” either
• Author: this field contains the name of the user that has made the last
modification to the element

4.2.1.2.4.3 View Invariant Effectivity
This panel displays the list of solutions of the invariant and their corresponding
effectivity. This panel is divided into two parts:
• The first part lists all solutions with their actual and scheduled effectivity.
Each solution is selectable in order to modify its effectivity
• The second part displays the list of aircrafts of the allocation table. When a
solution is selected in the first part:
o The aircrafts affected to this solution are notched in “Actual
Effectivity” column
o The aircrafts which are in the scheduled effectivity of the selected
solution are notched in “Scheduled Effectivity” column
o For a scheduled aircraft, the third column (“Actual Affectation”) may
give the identifier of the solution which has this aircraft in its actual
effectivity.
So if you want to modify the effectivity of a solution, you must do the following:
1. Select a solution item; the corresponding aircrafts are notched,
2. Check and uncheck the aircraft in “Actual Effectivity” column until
you’ve set the effectivity
You don’t have to validate your modifications they are taken into account
immediately. Note that modifying the effectivity of a solution can affect the effectivities
of the other solutions of the invariant. Indeed when selecting a MSN already selected
in another solution of the invariant, the MSN is deselected in the other solution.
The “All aircrafts” checkbox is a shortcut to notch all the aircrafts.
After modification of the effectivity of a solution it is necessary to check its highlights
and to remove those which are not valid any more.
