The connected user must be authenticated with the following profile:

The manual to be imported should not already exist in the application.
Description:
The authorized user may activate the “Import Database Manual” functionality by the menu
item “Manual>Import DB Manual”.

Alternatively, the authorized user may activate the “import DB Manual” functionality by the
toolbar button of the Manual Manager.
The functionality shows the corresponding Wizard “Import DB Manual”.

On first step, the user must choose the XML descriptor generated by the exportation of the
manual. The user must select a “Manual file”.
He can type the manual file name and path, or use the file chooser to do the same task by
pressing the “Browse” button.

When the “Manual file” field is filled, the user can click on the “Next>” button and move to
the next step.
With the “Cancel” button, the user leaves the Import window.

Second step, the system evaluates the validity of the XML file corresponding to the manual
the user wishes to import.
If it is not valid, an explanatory error message shows up in the upper panel of the wizard.

The central panel of the wizard specifies the characteristics of the manual being imported.
If the manual file is correct, Flight Ops Doc Manager tries to detect if the manual has
already been imported (same manual code, product code, ac-set-type, ac-set-value and
cuscode) in Flight Ops Doc Manager.
If the manual exist in Flight Ops Doc Manager an error message appears.

The user must confirm this analysis by notching the “confirm analysis” check box. The
“Import” button is now enabled. The user can start the process.
