LPC Browser mode additional functionalities are as follows:
- Publish manuals for FOCT (LPC Browser 2.9.2)
- Quick publish for FOCT (LPC Browser 2.9.2)
- Choice of Published format on Freeze
- Creation of a load on dispatch
The last tab “XML Editor” enables all users unless root profiles to define XML Editor for
edit or preview DU Solution.
XML Editor must be Pollo the internal editor or Arbortext Editor..
If Arbortext Editor is selected, you must specify the RMI port to use. By defaut, the port is
11000.

At any time, a contextual help is available by activating the help menu of the application
“Help>Help” or by “F1” shortcut key.

1.6 Flight Ops Doc Manager DU Lifecycle
The cycle of validation of the modifications of a Document Unit evolves following the
“lifecycle of a DU”. The Document Unit status is updated at the steps of the lifecycle:
• “In Creation” status
• “Released” status
In creation
Released
The manual responsible

If DU is checked-out
If DU is move to (Invariant)

This transitions are managed by the following functionalities:
• “Release” functionality
•
This functionalitiy is described later in the document.
Note that some specific action of customization can modify the status of a document unit and
put it back to “in creation” (such as check-in, move, change effectivity…)
The “Release” functionality is enabled with a contextual menu on several elements
simultaneously selected in the Explorer Manual tree.
