• Root profile
A user must be selected and must have an activate status.
User with “Root” profile cannot be modified.
Users with deleted status cannot be modified.
Logged in users cannot change their Full name and Email Address attributes. They can
only change their own password using “Admin>Change password” functionality.
Description:
The authorized user launches the User Manager window of the Flight Ops Doc Manager
application through the menu item.

The authorized user may activate “Edit User” functionality by the menu item
“Edit>Properties”, accelerator (“Enter” key).
Alternatively, the authorized user may activate “Edit User” functionality by the toolbar button
.
In the “Edit User” dialog box, login, full name password and profile fields are set to the
current values of the user. The email address is set if it is not displayed like "<empty Email
Address>" in column email address of the user table. Login cannot be changed. Full name,
email address, password, profile (selection list) may be changed. If the password is being
changed, it must be entered again in the password verification field. Empty fields are not
permitted excluding the “Email Address”.

The modified user will appear in the User Manager table.
3.1.3 Function “De-activate User”
The functionality “De-activate user” enables users to deactivate an existing user whose
information is stored in the database and displayed in the User Manager.
Activation condition:
The connected user must be authenticated with one of those available profiles:
• Manual responsible profile
• Root profile
A user must be selected and must have an activate status.
A user with Root profile cannot be deleted.
Description:
The authorized user launches the User Manager window of the Flight Ops Doc Manager
Dispatch Application desktop according to menu item “De-activate”, accelerator (“Deactivate”
key) or mnemonic (“D” key).
The authorized user may activate “Delete User” functionality by the menu item.

Alternatively, the authorized user may activate “De-activate User” functionality by the
toolbar button .
The user must confirm his choice with the dedicated dialog box “Confirm User deactivation”.

If the user confirms his action with the “Yes” button, the selected user will appear disabled
in the synchronized table with a “De-activate” status.
