installed or upgraded to LPC Browser mode (see 1.5.2 Preferences Functionalities)
The load Packaging is a process for formatting data and application in order to install them
in plane.
Flight Ops Doc Manager uses LSBM to create loads.
The following parameters appear on checkbox selection (see figure bellow):
• Part number: (P/N): a compulsory structure of 15 characters matching the ARINC
standard. It is a unique to identify a load.

Unique “Manufacturer’s
Code” that is assigned by
ARINC to each software
supplier.
(ABM for Airbus Loads)
“Check Characters”
generated from the
other characters in the
P/N.
Defined in the following
pages.
Note: Product identifier consist of upper-case alphanumeric characters except for alpha
characters “I”, “O”, “Q” and “Z”.
• Identifier: Any none empty string, is used by the system to rename the load template
file. (I.e. foct-fcom).
Note: for CCOM installation on FAP choose ccom-ccom.
Note: For a given manual, always use the same identifier, with the same case.
• Package Name: Any none empty string, without spaces (i.e. foct-fcom).
Note: for CCOM installation on FAP choose FAPCT-CCOM.
Note: For a given manual, always use the same package name, with the same case.
• Applicability date: date of applicability of the load
• Slot: The slot number to use on disk for each Domain (Maintenance, Flight Ops or
Cabin or LPC-NG) (from 1 to 15).
Note: For a given manual, choose the target domain and always use the same slot
number.

Empty slots can be used for airline manuals.
• Target: The Domain where the load shall be used: Maintenance (called Dark Green,
Flight Ops (called Light Green), Cabin for LPC Browser.
The user must fill the Part Number associated with its target.
Maintenance and Flight Ops use the same mandatory Part Number.

When the “Part Number”, the “Identifier”, the “Package Name” are filled and at least one of
the targets is selected, then the user can click on “Dispatch” button. It launches the dispatch
process.
Note: For manuals loaded both on Flight Ops Domain and Maintenance Domain (i.e. MEL,
CDL), you can select both domain and use only one Part Number. Only one load is created.
Note: For CCOM if loaded on Flight Ops Domain and Cabin Domain, 2 loads will be
created (with two part numbers). Follow these steps:
o Freeze CCOM manual.
o Dispatch your manual.
o Select:
Identifier: foct-ccom
Package Name: foct-ccom
Tick: Flight Ops Domain
Select: slot 5
