The user selects one of the symbols in the list and click on “Insert” button.
The new symbol tag is inserted in the Document.

4.5.1.3.4 Functionality “Edit Symbol”
The functionality “Edit Symbol” enables a user to edit an existing reference of symbol in
the XML content of the document being edited.
Activation condition:
A Document Unit is displayed in the Document Unit Editor.
The “Content” tab is selected.
The Document is in the “Tree view” representation.
The selected node is a symbol tag of the Document Unit.
Description:
In the tree view the user must select a symbol Document Unit node.
The user clicks in the “Attributes Node Panel” on the value of the qualified attribute
“href”.
A button named “choose an external document” appears and accesses the “Insert
symbol” dialog box.

The user chooses his new symbol, types a title and validates. The symbol tags are
updated in the tree view.
4.5.1.3.5 Functionality “Insert Graphic”
The functionality “Insert Graphic” enables a user to insert a graphic tag in the XML
content of the document being edited.
The objects available are the one that are managed by the multimedia library.
Activation condition:
A Document Unit is opened in the Document Unit Editor.
The “Content” tab is selected.
The Document is in the “Tree view” representation.
The type of Document Unit permits the insertion of an “illustration” element.
Description:
The user must select the “Tree view” representation of the Document in the Document
Unit Editor.
In the tree view the user must select an element where he can insert an “illustration”.
He inserts a “graphref” node by double clicking on it in the elements panel.

User should set the mandatory attribute:”mode” of the element “graphref”. Choose
between thumbnail, text and inline.
