100 Lower Half of Fuselage
C. Prepare for Switch Removal

(1)
Remove electrical power from the airplane (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(2)
Open the main equipment bay access door (AMM 52-48-41/401).

(3)
Get access to the E3-1 shelf installed at the right hand side of the electronic rack installation.
(4)
Roll back the nylon moisture shroud installed above the E3 rack.

NOTE: The altitude pressure switch, S813 is installed on the relay
____ support bracket, located behind the transformer rectifier no. 2 (TR2).

(5) Remove transformer rectifier no. 1 and 2 (TR1 and TR2) from the E3-1 rack, to get access to the switch (AMM 20-10-07/201).
NOTE: Removal of adjacent equipment may be necessary, if access

is limited.

(6) Remove the altitude pressure switch, S813 as follows:
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.
(b)
Disconnect the air hose (if installed) from the switch.
NOTE: Do not let unwanted material or debris get into the
____
air hose.
(c)
Remove the screws, washers and nuts which hold the switch to the relay support bracket. 1) Keep the screws, washers and nuts for installation.
(d)
Remove the altitude pressure switch, S813.
