Set the assembly on the oxygen cylinder.
(2)
Install the assembly on the oxygen cylinder.

Tighten the nut of the cylinder coupling to a torque of 650-700 pound-inches.

G. Do a Check for Leakage

Use the leak detection compound to do a check on all the connections that were disconnected.

If there is leakage at the connections that were disconnected, continue as follows:
(a)
Bleed crew oxygen system pressure per paragraph 2.E. (2).
(b)
Tighten the connection with the leak to a torque of 220 pound-inches
(c)
Slowly open the shutoff valve.

Examine the connections for leaks with the leak detection compound for the oxygen system.
(e)
Remove the leak detection compound with a clean cloth immediately after you examine the oxygen system.
