(l) If the mask has a "pull" streamer attached to the mask facepiece, wrap in lanyard and place on top of facepiece (View I, Fig. 202).
F. Install the Masks in the Passenger Service Unit

(1) For the PSU oxygen masks, do the steps that follow (Fig. 203):
(a)
Put masks in position (View C or E, Fig. 203).
(b)
Push the mask tubing fully on the manifold outlets.
NOTE: If the oxygen box is not installed on the airplane a
____ heat gun can be used to heat the tubing and make it easier to install (AMM 20-10-27/201).
(c)
Put the masks on the top of the mask box door.
(d)
Adjust the masks to get a smooth bend radius in the mask tubing.
(e)
Make sure that the mask box door can close.
(f)
If the mask box door does not close move the oxygen mask until you can close the mask box door easily.
(g)
Make sure the hoses are not bent.
(h)
Put the release cable through the lanyard rings and through the slot in the mask box.
(i)
Make sure you do not wind the mask lanyards around other objects in the mask box.
(j)
Put the remaining lanyard on the top of the mask facepiece.
(k)
Make sure that no part of the mask or the reservoir bag goes on the manifold or the cable.
(l)
Install the cover on the mask box.
G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Position

If the heat sensitive band on the generator is a black color, the generator has fired and it must be replaced (Ref 35-22-11/201).

If the safety pin is installed in the oxygen generator, remove the safety pin (Ref 35-22-11/201).

3. Attendant's and Lavatory Oxygen Mask Packing Procedure______________________________________________________
NOTE: Before you install the oxygen masks, make sure the mask hoses
____ (tubing) are serviceable. Replace the mask assembly when it is necessary.

D. Prepare to Pack the Oxygen Masks

WARNING:_______DO NOT PULL THE LANYARDS WHEN YOU PACK THE MASKS. IF YOU PULL THE LANYARDS, YOU WILL CAUSE THE OXYGEN GENERATOR TO FIRE. IF THE GENERATOR FIRES, THE GENERATOR WILL BECOME VERY HOT (450°F OR HOTTER). DO NOT TOUCH THE GENERATOR UNTIL IT IS COOL OR INJURY TO PERSONS CAN OCCUR.
(1) If the forward or the aft left attendant's mask box door is closed, do the steps that follow:
