 (4)  S 435-101Install the plug on the cylinder coupling.
 (5)  S 435-083Torque the plug to 170 pound-inches.

 WARNING: YOU MUST OPEN THE SHUTOFF VALVE SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY, OR
_______ HIGH TEMPERATURES CAN OCCUR. THIS CAN START AN IGNITION WITH THE OXYGEN AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE AND THE EQUIPMENT.
 (6)  
Slowly open the shutoff valve of the crew oxygen cylinder.

Do a simplified leak test of the plug connection at the cylinder coupling.

 (8)  
If there is leakage at the plug connection, do these steps:


 (a)  Bleed the system pressure again. 1) Close the shutoff valve of the crew oxygen cylinder. 2) Make sure the shutoff valve of the crew oxygen system in
 the control cabin is open. 3) On the captain's mask stowage box, push the sliding control in the direction of the arrow and hold.
 4)  On the captain's mask/regulator, do the steps that follow: a) Move the dilution control to 100%. b) Push the emergency control knob and hold. c) Monitor the flow blinker and make sure it changes from
 a yellow color and then to a black color.
 (b)  
Release the sliding control and the emergency control knob.

 CAUTION:_______DO NOT USE THE COUPLING BODY AS A LEVER. USE A WRENCH ON THE COUPLING HEX NUT, OR DAMAGE TO COUPLING CAN OCCUR.

 (c)  
Torque the plug to 220 pound-inches again.

 (d)  
Slowly open the shutoff valve of the crew oxygen cylinder.

 (e)  
Do a simplified leak test of the plug connection at the cylinder coupling.

 (9)  Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
