Put the actuator in its position and install the mounting screws.

Connect the electrical wires.

On the passenger service unit, make sure the passenger service unit door is correctly closed and latched (AMM 25-23-61/201).

On the attendant's and the lavatory mask boxes, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Lift the mask box into its position and install the mounting screws as shown in Fig. 402.
(b)
Pack the oxygen masks (AMM 35-22-31/201).
E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P18-3 Panel
1) 3F8, OXYGEN SYSTEM PASS R or
PASS OXYGEN RIGHT
2) 3F9, OXYGEN SYSTEM PASS L or PASS OXYGEN LEFT

OXYGEN MASKS - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

1. General_______
A. Do this procedure when the oxygen masks are removed from the passenger service units. When you do this procedure, the oxygen box must be fully and correctly installed.
B. This procedure gives the instructions to put the oxygen masks of the passenger service units into coils. These masks are installed through the open top of the mask box. These mask boxes contain three or four oxygen masks.
C. This procedure gives the instructions to put the oxygen masks of the attendant and lavatory mask boxes into coils. These masks are installed through the open mask box door. These mask boxes contain two oxygen masks.

2. PSU Oxygen Mask Installation____________________________
NOTE: Before you install the oxygen masks, make sure the mask hoses
____ (tubing) are serviceable. Replace the mask assembly when it is necessary.

D. Prepare to Install the Oxygen Masks

WARNING:_______WHEN YOU PACK THE MASKS, DO NOT PULL THE LANYARDS. TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON THE LANYARDS WILL RELEASE THE FIRING PIN AND FIRE THE GENERATOR. IF THE RELEASE PIN IS PULLED AND THE GENERATOR FIRES THE SURFACE TEMPERATURE OF THE GENERATOR CAN BE MORE THAN 450°F AND CAN BURN YOU. DO NOT TOUCH THE GENERATOR UNTIL IT IS COOL.

Lower the service unit (AMM 25-23-61/201).

To remove the mask box cover, do the step that follows:
(a) Carefully lift the cover away from the mask box.
