(1)
Remove the protective caps or plugs.

Connect the microphone connector to the storage box.

Install the storage box.
(a)
Connect the oxygen supply line to the storage box.
(b)
Tighten the connections by hand.
(c)
To complete the connection use a back-up wrench on the fitting to make sure the fitting does not turn.
(d)
Tighten the fitting connection.
(e)
Put the storage box in its position in the recess in the structure.
(f)
Attach the storage box to the structure with the fasteners and engage the four fasteners.

(4) Do the mask/regulator installation procedure to put the mask/regulator in the storage box.

(5) Pressurize the crew oxygen system.
(a) Put the regulator of the crew oxygen mask to N (normal).
WARNING: YOU MUST OPEN THE VALVE SLOWLY OR HIGH TEMPERATURES CAN
_______ OCCUR. THIS CAN CAUSE A FIRE OR AN EXPLOSION AND INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION: YOU MUST NOT TIGHTEN THE VALVE MORE THAN THE GIVEN

TORQUE. DAMAGE TO THE VALVE CAN OCCUR.
(b)
Slowly open the shutoff valve on the crew oxygen cylinder fully.
(c)
Do not tighten the valve more than 25 pound-inches (hand tight).
(d)
Close the valve 1/4-turn and use lockwire to keep the valve in this position.
NOTE: Use the 0.020 inch diameter copper lockwire

(6) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) On the main power distribution panel, P6:
1) C018 or C020, INPH AND WARN, or
SERVICE INPH, or
OBS INPH
2) B021, CAPT AND AUDIO, or
CAPT AUDIO, or
CAPT AND OBS-INPH
3) B020, F/0 AUDIO, or
F/O AND E/R INPH, or
F/O INPH

(1) Read and obey the safety precautions of the oxygen system and the general maintenance instructions before you do the maintenance (AMM 35-00-00/201).
