(1) Read the safety precautions and the general maintenance instructions of the oxygen system in 35-00-00, Maintenance Practices.

In the forward cargo compartment, close the shutoff valve of the crew oxygen cylinder.

Make sure that the system shutoff valve on the P6 panel is open.

(3)
Push and hold the sliding control on the stowage box of the captain in the direction of the arrow.

(4)
On the mask/regulator of the captain move the oxygen dilution control to 100%.
(5)
Push and hold the emergency control knob.

(6)
Release the sliding control and the emergency control knob when the flow blinker changes from a yellow cross to all black.

Open this circuit breaker panel and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P18 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) OXYGEN SYSTEM IND.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the pressure transducer.

Remove the pressure transducer from the cylinder coupling.

(1) Remove the caps and plugs from the ports and lines.

CAUTION: DO NOT USE THE TRANSDUCER BODY OR THE COUPLING BODY AS A LEVER.
_______ USE A WRENCH ON THE TRANSDUCER SQUARE BOSS AND ON THE COUPLING HEX NUT, OR DAMAGE TO COMPONENTS MAY OCCUR.

Install the pressure transducer on the cylinder coupling.

(3)
Tighten the pressure transducer on the cylinder coupling to 170 pound-inches.
(4)
Connect the electrical connector to the pressure transducer.
(5)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
