 (1)  AIRPLANES WITH P/N 214C40-75 PRESSURE SWITCH AND PRE-SB 35-1025; Connect the adapter kit to the altitude pressure switch, S813.
 (a)  
Get access to the altitude pressure switch, S813 (AMM 35-22-41/401).

 (b)  
Use lint free cloth to clean the flat bottom of the switch.

 (c)  
Install an O-ring into the O-ring groove on the adapter fitting.

 (d)  
Attach the fitting on the switch bottom with three screws.

 (e)  
Use the supplied length of lockwire and safety the screws with lockwire (Ref MS33540).

 NOTE: If you decrease the pressure on the altitude pressure
____ switch to 17.3 - 17.8 inches mercury absolute (13,650 to 14,350 feet altitude), all the mask box doors must release and touch the test stop buttons.

 (3)  AIRPLANES WITH P/N 214C40-110 PRESSURE SWITCH OR POST-SB 35-1025; Connect the vacuum source and the gage to the port, found approximately at STA 380; WL 191; RBL 11, at the end of the tube connected to the altitude pressure switch, S813.
 NOTE: If you decrease the pressure on the altitude pressure
____ switch to 17.3 - 17.8 inches mercury absolute (13,650 to 14,350 feet altitude), all the mask box doors must release and touch the test stops.

Slowly decrease the pressure at the altitude pressure switch until the mask box doors are against the test stop buttons.

Make sure all the mask box doors in the passenger cabin are
 unlatched and they are against the test stop buttons.

 

 G. Do a Test of the Passenger Annunciation System

 (1)  
On the P2 center instrument panel, move the LIGHTS switch to DIM and make sure the PASS OXY ON light goes dim.

Move the LIGHTS switch to BRT, and make sure the PASS OXY ON light is bright.

 (3)
On the P7 lightshield, push one of the two MASTER CAUTION lights.

 (4)  
Make sure the MASTER CAUTION lights and the OVERHEAD annunciator light go off.

 (5)  Push one of the two master caution annunciators, and make sure the MASTER CAUTION lights and the OVERHEAD annunciator light come on.
 NOTE: Ignore all other annunciator lights that come on.

 H. Put the System Back to Its Usual Condition

Remove the vacuum source, gage, and the adapter (as necessary) from the altitude pressure switch, S813.

Install the altitude pressure switch, S813 (AMM 35-22-41/401).

Open the OXYGEN SYSTEM IND circuit breaker on the P18 panel.

Wait ten seconds and close the OXYGEN SYSTEM IND circuit breaker on the P18 panel.


 (a)  Make sure the PASS OXY ON light on the P5 aft overhead panel is off.

 (5)  On the P7 glareshield, push one of the two MASTER CAUTION lights to reset the master caution annunciator lights.
