D. Procedure
S 864-020
(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) On the main power distribution panel, P6: 1) CAPT & OBS INPH 2) F/O INPH

(2) Release the pressure from the crew oxygen system (depressurize).
CAUTION: DO NOT TIGHTEN THE VALVE MORE THAN THE GIVEN TORQUE.

DAMAGE TO THE VALVE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Close the shutoff valve on the crew oxygen cylinder with your hand.
NOTE: When you tighten the valve by hand, it is
____ equivalent to a maximum torque of 25 pound-inches.
(b)
Set one of the mask regulators of the crew oxygen system to 100 percent emergency oxygen.
(c)
Move the test lever on the sliding control on the mask storage box and bleed the oxygen from the lines.

(3) Install the mask/regulator.
(a) Connect the oxygen supply to the regulator.

(4) Pressurize the crew oxygen system.
(a) Put the mask regulator of the crew oxygen system back to N (normal).
WARNING:_______YOU MUST OPEN THE VALVE SLOWLY. HIGH TEMPERATURES CAN OCCUR AND CAUSE A FIRE OR EXPLOSION. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT AND INJURY TO PERSONS CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION: DO NOT TIGHTEN THE VALVE MORE THAN THE
_______ GIVEN TORQUE. DAMAGE TO THE VALVE CAN OCCUR.
(b)
Slowly open the shutoff valve on the crew oxygen cylinder fully.
(c)
Do not tighten the valve more than 25 pound-inches (equivalent to finger-tight).
(d)
Close the valve 1/4-turn and keep the valve in this position with lockwire.
NOTE: Use the 0.020 inch diameter copper lockwire
____ (AMM 20-10-44/401).

(5) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
