Cylinder - portable test
(2)
Caps and plugs - package of clean, protective
(3)
Bags - polyethylene
B. Consumable Materials
(1)
G00669 Nitrogen per MIL-P-27401 (to be used with portable test cylinder) (or)
(2)
Air - clean, dry, with no particles or fibers greater than 100 microns in the longest dimension per cubic foot of air. It must not have no more than 3 PPM total hydrocarbon by weight or 7 PPM by volume. A moisture content not to exceed 0.00002 grams per liter of air at 70° F and 760 mm mercury. This is equivalent to a dew point of -63.6° F at 760 mm mercury. This air is to be used with a portable test cylinder.

S 117-004
CAUTION: ONLY USE CLEANING SOLVENTS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE COMPONENTS
_______ FOR AN INSTALLED SYSTEM. DO NOT USE CLEANING SOLVENTS ON THE INSIDE OF THE OXYGEN SYSTEM COMPONENTS.
(3) Remove contamination on the installed components, not in contact with the oxygen system using the steps that follow:
(a)
Use cleaning solvents (series 96) to remove the contaminants that remain (AMM 20-30-96/201).
(b)
Dry the component with a clean and dry lint-free cloth.
S 167-006
(4) For airplane components not installed or any part of a component that will be in contact with system oxygen use the vapor degreasing method (OHM 20-30-03).
NOTE: Before you clean the components, you must remove the
____
components from the aircraft.
(a) Disassemble the components which include valves, regulators and oxygen cylinders.
S 917-013
