(3) S 422-004If the oxygen masks hang through the bottom of the mask box door, do the steps that follow: (a) Carefully pull each mask up through the top of the mask box. (b) Let the masks hang from the side of the passenger service unit.
(4) S 442-005Push the test stop button up until one of the two conditions that follow occur (not necessary for therapeutic mask box Fig. 201):
NOTE:____ If the actuator fires, the sound of a click will show that the actuator is set. If the actuator does not fire, you will feel the pressure increase while you push the test stop button up.
(a) (b) You hear the sound of a click.You feel the pressure increase.
(5) S 862-025Release the test stop button.
(6) S 412-026Close and latch the mask box door.
(7) S 032-006If the masks are in the mask box, do the steps that follow: (a) Carefully remove each mask with its lanyard and tubing from the mask box. (b) Isolate each mask and permit the masks to hang from the top side of the passenger service unit.
(8) S 212-007If the release cable is not put through all the mask lanyard rings, do the step that follows: (a) Put the release cable out of the mask box.
(9) S 212-008Examine the masks to make sure the masks are serviceable before you install the masks.

(10) To see if the oxygen generator fired, do the steps that follow:
(a)
If the heat sensitive band on the generator has a black color the oxygen generator fired.
(b)
If the firing pin is in the fired position, the oxygen generator fired or the firing mechanism is bad.
NOTE: The fired position is when the firing pin is
____
against the percussion cap.
E. Install the Oxygen Masks (Fig. 202)
S 862-010
(1) To pack the oxygen masks, do the steps that follow
(Fig. 202):
(a)
Move apart and isolate all the lanyards and the tubing.
(b)
Open the reservoir bag and make sure it is flat (View A, Fig. 202).
(c)
Put the headstrap on the center of the reservoir bag (View A, Fig. 202).
(d)
Fold the reservoir bag two times from one end of the reservoir bag to the other end (View B, Fig. 202).
(e)
Put the folded reservoir bag on the outer part of the facepiece (View C, Fig. 202).
(f)
Make sure the bag to hose connection is in the center and the bottom of the facepiece (View E, Fig. 202).
(g)
Push the bag to hose connection to the left side of the facepiece.
(h)
Put the hose into coils in the counterclockwise direction on the top of the reservoir bag as shown (View F, Fig. 202).
NOTE: Push the hose down and against the inner wall of the
____ facepiece to get the correct coils in the hose. Do not permit the hose coil to come out of the top of the facepiece.
(i)
Put the tubing into coils to the flow indicator (View F, Fig. 202).
(j)
If the mask has a lanyard attached to the hose, put the lanyard along the outer edge of the facepiece (View F, Fig. 202).
(k)
If the mask has a lanyard attached to the mask facepiece, keep the lanyard out of the mask (View F, Fig. 202).
