R  A. If the fault is identified by the ECAM warning AIR APU BLEED LEAK 
R  associated with the FAULT legend on the APU BLEED pushbutton switch: 
R  - release and push the APU BLEED pushbutton switch to clear the warnings. 
R  (1) If the warning goes out of view: 
R  - no further maintenance action is required. 
R  (2) If the warning stays in view: 
R  - do the impedance check of the APU overheat detection loop 
R  - remove the BMC1 (1HA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-34-000-001) 
R  - on the shelf 95VU, connect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) between the 
R  connector 1HA1-AA/7B and the ground (Ref. ASM 36-22/01) 
R  - do an impedance check on the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI). 
R  (a) If the impedance is more than 3 KOhms: 
R  - disconnect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) from the BMC1 connector 
R  - replace the BMC-1 (1HA1) which is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-
R  34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-34-400-001). 
R  - refer to Para. 4.B. 
R  (b) If the impedance is less than 3 KOhms: 
R  - disconnect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) from the BMC1 connector 
R  - do a visual inspection of the sensing elements and the cables 
R  on the APU loop. 
R  (c) If a sensing element or a cable is damaged: 
R  - replace the sensing element or a cable (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-17-
R  000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-17-400-001) 
R  - disconnect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) from the BMC1 connector 
R  - install the BMC1 (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-34-400-001) 
R  - refer to Para. 4.B. 
R  (d) If no sensing element is damaged: 
R  - disconnect the connector between the sensing elements 15HF and 
R  16HF 
R  - connect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) between the connector 
R  1HA1-AA/7B and the ground 
R  - do an impedance check on the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI). 
R  (e) If the impedance is less than 3 KOhms: 
R  - disconnect the connector between the sensing elements 13HF and 
R  14HF 
R  - do an impedance check on the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI). 
R  1 If the impedance is less than 3 KOhms:_ 
R  - disconnect the connector between the cable 12HF and the 
R  sensing element 84HF 
R  - do an impedance check on the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI).

AMM TASK 36-22-17-400-001) R - do a check of the impedance read on the LOOP CONTROLLER R (9240SI). R R * If the impedance is less than 3 KOhms: R - do a check and repair the wiring between the pin 7B of R the BMC1 connector (1HA1-AA) and the cable 11HF R - connect all the cables or connectors disconnected R - disconnect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) from the BMC1 R connector R - install the BMC1 (1HA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-34-400-R 001) R - refer to Para. 4.B. R R * If the impedance is more than 3 KOhms: R - connect all the cables or connectors disconnected R - disconnect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) from the BMC1 R connector R - install the BMC1 (1HA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-34-400-R 001) R - refer to Para. 4.B. R R * If the impedance is more than 3 KOhms: R - replace the OVHT SENS ELEMENT (12HF) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-R 22-17-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-17-400-001) R - connect all the cables or connectors disconnected R - disconnect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) from the BMC1 R connector R - install the BMC1 (1HA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-34-400-R 001) R - refer to Para. 4.B.


R b_ If the impedance is more than 3 KOhms:R - disconnect the connector between the sensing elements R 13HF and 84HF R - connect the connector between the cable 12HF and the R sensing element 84HF R - do an impedance check on the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI). R R * If the impedance is less than 3 KOhms: R - replace the OVERHEAT SENSING ELEM (84HF) (Ref. AMM TASK R 36-22-17-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 36-22-17-400-001). R - connect all the cables or connectors disconnected R - disconnect the LOOP CONTROLLER (9240SI) from the BMC1 R connector
