A. Preparation for Installation:
(1) Remove the old sealant from the floor panels with a nonmetallic scraper.

_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.

Clean the component interface and the adjacent area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and lint free cloth.
(3)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Floor Panels:
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Put the floor panels (1) and the seals (3) and (6) in position.
(3)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the screws (2).
(4)
Install the screws (2) and TORQUE to 0.42 m.daN (37.16 lbf.in).
(5)
Install the cord (7) FIBER GLASS CORD 1.1MM DIA. (DAN107-1) in the gap between the floor panels (1).
NOTE : Make a loop at the end of the cord, this will help the next

removal procedure.
(6) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-005) in the gap between the floor panels (1) and the cutouts of the tiedown positions.
