Compress the spring (8) to remove the nuts (1) and shutter assembly
(2) easily.
(2)
Remove the nut (1).
(3)
Remove the shutter assembly (2).
(4)
Remove the nuts (3), the bolts (4) and the spacers (5).
(5)
Remove the tripod assembly (6).

(1) Make sure that the seal of the shutter assembly is in good condition.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of Component.
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 53-39-41-991-001)
(1)
Put the tripod assembly (6) in position.
(2)
Install the bolts (4), the spacers (5) and the nuts (3).
(3)
TORQUE the nuts (3) to between 0.35 and 0.45 m.daN (30.97 and 39.82 lbf.in).
(4)
Put the shutter assembly (2) in position on the shaft (7).
(5)
Compress the spring (8) to install the Shutter assembly (2) and nut
(1) easily.
(6)
Install the nut (1).
(7)
TORQUE the nut (1) to between 0.70 and 0.80 m.daN (61.94 and 70.79 lbf.in).
(8)
Make sure that the travel range of the shutter assembly (2) is correct.
5. Close-up

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the access panels (Ref. TASK 53-25-11-400-001):
-191EB, 191LB (left side),
-192EB, 192LB (right side).

Remove the access platform(s).

The rear fuselage assembly is a pressurized area, which extends from FR47 to
FR70. The passenger compartment floor divides the rear fuselage into its
upper and lower fuselage sections.
The upper section of the fuselage assembly contains:

the aft section of the passenger cabin
-
the AFT passenger/crew doors (Ref. 52-13-00), installed between FR66 and FR68, left and right
-
the aft utility area
