Make sure the ground service network is energized (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

Make sure the necessary equipment and furnishing is removed to get access to the cabin floor panels.

(1) Remove any old sealant from the floor panels with a nonmetallic scraper.
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.

THIS MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS.
(2)
Clean the component interface and the adjacent area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and lint free cloth.
(3)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(5)
Examine the rubber strips (2) for good condition.

B. Installation of the Floor Panels
NOTE : This procedure is applicable for all floor panels.

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Put the floor panels (4) in position. NOTE : Refer to the identification made during the removal procedure.

(3)
Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the screws (3).
(4)
Install the screws (3) and TORQUE to 0.42 m.daN (37.16 lbf.in).
(5)
Install the cord (1) MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-027) in the gap between the floor panels.
NOTE : Make a loop at the end of the cord, this will help the next

removal procedure.
(6) Apply the SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) in the gap between the floor panels.

B. Installation of the Floor Panels
NOTE : This procedure is applicable for all floor panels.

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
If removed, install the heated floor panels, 15DS (16DS), at the AFT emergency exits (Ref. TASK 25-27-51-400-001).

(3) Put the floor panels (4) in position.
NOTE : Refer to the identification made during the removal procedure.____
R R (4) Apply the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the screws (3), (6), (10) and (11).
(5) Install the screws (3), (10) and (11) and TORQUE to 0.42 m.daN (37.16 lbf.in).
R (6) Install the cord (1) MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-027) in the gap between the floor panels.
