A. Identification of the Proximity Switches in Relation with the Door

(1) The identification of the proximity switches is as follows:
(a)
5WN1 for the L FWD emergency exit

(b)
5WN2 for the R FWD emergency exit

(d)
6WN2 for the R AFT emergency exit Subtask 52-70-00-010-057

B. Get Access
(1) Put the access platform in position at the applicable FWD passenger/crew door 831 or 841.

(2)
Open the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001). Subtask 52-70-00-865-058

C. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

4. Procedure

A. Visual Check to Make Sure that the Slide is in the ARMED Position
(1) Make sure that the SLIDE ARMED white indicator light in the cabin lining near the applicable emergency exit is on.

B. Check of the Defective Proximity Switch
(1)
Clean the defective proximity switch with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-010) and MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).

(2)
If the fault continues:

(a) Replace the defective proximity switch.
1_ If a new proximity switch is available:
- Remove the defective proximity switch (Ref. TASK 52-73-11-
000-003) or (Ref. TASK 52-73-11-000-004).
- Install the new proximity switch (Ref. TASK 52-73-11-400-
003) or (Ref. TASK 52-73-11-400-004).
2_ If no proximity switch is available, replace the defective
proximity switch by a proximity switch of the avionics
