Safety the electrical connector (4) with tie-wraps on the adjacent fuselage structure.

Carefully install the control unit (1) and tighten the captive screws (2).

Put a warning notice on the overhead panel to tell the persons that
the keypad is deactivated. R

(2) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1MQ.

A. Reactivation of the Key Pad

(1)
Cut and remove the tie-wrap to release the temporarily attached connector (4).
(2)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (4) and receptacle (3).
(3)
Connect the electrical connector (4) to the receptacle (3).
(4)
Carefully install the control unit (1) and tighten the captive screws (2).
