A. Installation of the Control Unit
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(4)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
CAUTION : BE CAREFUL DURING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION OF THE CONTROL UNIT.
_______ THE BONDING WIRES ARE SHORT AND DAMAGE CAN EASILY OCCUR TO THEM.
(5) Put the control unit (1) in position and connect the electrical connectors (3) and (4).
CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT YOU PROGRAM THE CONTROL UNIT OF THE COCKPIT-
_______ DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM AFTER INSTALLATION. IF YOU DO NOT, ACCESS TO THE COCKPIT AREA WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE.
(6) Carefully install the control unit (1) and tighten the captive screws (2).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1MQ

Do an operational test of the Cockpit-Door Locking System (Ref. TASK 52-51-00-710-002).
(2)
Do an operational test of the routine access (Ref. TASK 52-51-00-710-001).
(3)
Do an operational test of the emergency access (Ref. TASK 52-51-00-710-003).
5. Close-up

(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
