A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that:
(a) The aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(b) The access platform is in position at the avionics compartment access-door 824 in zone 126.

(c) The avionics compartment access-door 824 is open.
WARNING : OPEN THE ACCESS DOOR AND MAKE SURE IT STAYS OPEN.
_______ ATTACH A WARNING NOTICE TO THE ACCESS DOOR TO TELL PERSONS NOT TO CLOSE IT. THIS IS TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL PRESSURIZATION OF THE AIRCRAFT BY THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IF ALL THE OTHER CABIN OPENINGS ARE CLOSED. PRESSURIZATION OF THE AIRCRAFT CAN BE DANGEROUS. IT CAN CAUSE A DOOR TO OPEN WITH EXPLOSIVE FORCE WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(d)
The access platform is in position below the outflow valve area in zone 172.
(e)
The access platform is in position at the access panel 312AR.
(f)
The access panel 312AR is removed.
(g)
In the zone 312 the 600 ohm boomset is connected to the service interphone jack 13RJ.
(h)
In the cockpit:
1_ On the CAPT jack panel the 600 ohm headset is connected to the
related connector,
2_ On the overhead panel 50VU the ON legend on the SVCE INT OVRD
pushbutton switch is off,
3_ On the CABIN PRESS panel 25VU make sure that:
- the MODE SEL pushbutton switch is in the MAN position (the
MAN legend is on) and,
- the MAN V/S CTL switch is at the DN position.
4_ Make sure that the service interphone system is energized
(Ref. TASK 23-44-00-700-001).
