C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that:
-
the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is in the off position (the ON legend is off) and,
-
the ENG 1 BLEED and the ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches are in the off position (the OFF legends are on).

D. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the panel 30VU put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate:
-
the APU BLEED pushbutton switch and,
-
the ENG 1 BLEED and the ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches.
(2)
On the HP ground connector put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to supply the ground air.

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Filter
R (Ref. Fig. 301/TASK 21-51-51-991-005)

(1)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the filter (3) and the set-screw (1).
(2)
TORQUE the set-screw (1) to between 0.040 and 0.050 m.daN (3.53 and
4.42 lbf.in).
NOTE : This is a precaution to make sure that the downstream probe
____ does not turn when you remove the filter (3).
(3)
Remove the filter (3) and discard the seal (2).
(4)
Do the cleaning procedure of the filter (Ref.CMM 21-51-09) or install a new one.

B. Installation of the Filter
WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THERE IS A GOOD FLOW OF AIR THROUGH THE WORK

IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES : -FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES. -GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
