4. Procedure

Subtask 21-51-51-020-065-A
A. Removal of the Air Duct Assembly
(Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 21-51-51-991-006-B)
(1)
Remove the pressure sense-line connector (2).
(2)
Remove the electrical connector (14).
(3)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(4)
Remove the nut (13), the washer (12), the screw (10) and disconnect the bonding strap (11).
(5)
Remove the nuts (7), the washers (8), the bolts (4) and the bushings
(5) from the three support rods (9).
(6)
Remove the v-clamps (1) and (3).
(7)
Lower the air duct assembly carefully and remove it.
(8)
Remove and discard the o-ring (15).
(9)
Put protective covers on the open duct ends.

Remove the pressure sense-line connector (2).
(2)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(3)
Remove the nut (13), the washer (12), the screw (10) and disconnect the bonding strap (11).
(4)
Remove the nuts (7), the washers (8), the bolts (4) and the bushings
(5) from the three support rods (9).
(5)
Remove the v-clamps (1) and (3).
(6)
Lower the air duct assembly carefully and remove it.
(7)
Remove and discard the o-ring (15).

B. Removal of the Support Rods

(1)
Remove the nuts (24), the washers (23), the bolts (20), the bushings
(21) and the support rods (9) from the attachment brackets (22).
(2)
Do the inspection of the components for in-service wear (Ref. TASK 21-51-51-200-002).
