A. Installation of the Attachment Components

(1) Put the support rods (9) in position on the brackets (22) and install the bushings (21), the bolts (20), the washers (23) and the nuts (24).

B. Installation of the Air Duct
(1)
Remove the protective covers from the air duct assembly.
(2)
Clean the component interfaces and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Lubrication of the O-ring WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE
_______ THIS/THESE MATERIAL/S. USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
(a) Apply a small amount of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-007) to the o-ring (15).
NOTE : This is a molybdenum disulfide powder.
____ Before you can apply it you must first make it into a paste. To do this you must mix the powder with pure water or white spirit.
(4)
Put a new o-ring (15) in position on the air duct flange.
(5)
Put the air duct assembly in its correct position and attach the v-clamps (1) and (3) but do not tighten the clamps.
(6)
Put the three support rods (9) in position on the brackets on top of the duct.
(7)
Install the bushings (5), the bolts (4), the washers (8) and the nuts (7).
(8)
TORQUE the clamp (1) to between 0.4 and 0.5 m.daN (35.39 and 44.24 lbf.in).
(9)
TORQUE the clamp (3) to between 0.81 and 0.93 m.daN (71.68 and 82.30 lbf.in).
(10)
Put the bonding strap (11) in position and install the bolt (10), the washer (12) and the nut (13) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(11)
Remove the blanking cap from the sense line connector (2).
