(37)  Install the fairlead which holds the top left ignition cables in the cooling baffle: S Assemble the fairlead around the cable and to baffle. S Install the 2 screws, washers and nuts which attach the fairlead to the baffle. 
(38)  Install the right ignition harness: S Move the right ignition harness into position on the right magneto. S Install the three screws which attach the harness to the ignition. S Connect the ignition cables to the spark plugs.  Make sure that the cap is seated correctly. Make sure that the ignition cables are connected to the correct plugs. Torque: Hand-tight, then 1/16 to 1/8 turn with a wrench. 
(39)  Install the fairlead which holds the top right ignition cables in the cooling baffle: S Assemble the fairlead around the cable and to baffle. S Install the 2 screws, washers and nuts which attach the fairlead to the baffle. 
(40)  Install the P-clamps which attach the ignition cables to the left side of the engine cooling air baffles.  Make sure that the ignition cables can reach the spark plugs without strain. 
(41)  Install the P-clamps which attach the ignition cables to the right side of the engine cooling air baffles.  Make sure that the ignition cables can reach the spark plugs without strain.

(42)  Install the cable ties that hold the ignition cables to the left side of the engine mount. 
(43)  Install the cable -ties that hold the ignition cables to the right side of the engine mount. 
(44)  Install the cable ties that attach the left ignition harness to the right ignition harness. 
(45)  Do an engine oil level check.  Refer to Section 12-10. 
(46)  Install the airplane battery.  Refer to Section 24-31. 
(47)  If necessary, for your airworthiness authority, do a second inspection of these control systems: S Throttle. S Mixture. S Alternate air. 
(48)  Install the engine cowlings.  Refer to Section 71-12. 
(49)  Remove the wing trestles. 
(50)  Lower the airplane with the jacks.  Refer to Section 07-10. 
(51)  Do a test of the engine.  Refer to Paragraph 6.

4. Remove the Engine with the Engine Mount

(1)  Lift the airplane on jacks and make the airplane level.  Refer to Section 07-10. 
(2)  Move the wing trestles into position.  Refer to Section 07-10. 
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE ENGINE IS SAFE BEFORE YOU DO ANY WORK ON THE PROPELLER. IF THE ENGINE IS TURNED, THE PROPELLER CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH. 
(3)  Set the fuel selector/shut-off valve to CLOSED. 
(4)  Make sure that the engine is safe: S Set the ignition switch to OFF. S Set the throttle to IDLE. S Set the mixture control to LEAN CUT-OFF. 
(5)  Remove the engine cowlings.  Refer to Section 71-12. 
(6)  Remove the battery.  Refer to Section 24-31. 
(7)  Disconnect the spark plug cables from the spark plugs.

(8)  Disconnect the cables for the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) probes: S Disconnect the cables at the in-line connectors. S Remove the cable ties attaching the cable for the probe to the engine mount. S Move the cable clear of the engine and the engine mount.  Do this item for each of the four probes. Note the location of the cable ties.
