This Temporary Revision AMM-TR-V.M-40-002 is approved in conjunction with the Variant Design Change Advisory V.M 40-002 and is valid in conjunction with the Airplane Maintenance Manual (AMM) Revision 4 until this Temporary Revision has been incorporated into the AMM.
The limitations and information contained herein either supplement or, in case of conflict, override those in the AMM.
The technical information contained in this document has been approved under the authority of DOA No. EASA.21J.052.

NOTE: There are different models of Lycoming engines used for the DA 40 series airplanes.
Instructions given for the 'Lycoming version' in the AMM are applicable to all DA 40 aircraft powered by a Lycoming engine. Specific changes apply to the Lycoming O-360-A4M engine model and are listed referring to the engine model number.
