(4) Do a test for correct OAT indication. S Close the OAT circuit-breaker. S Set the ALT/BAT switch (Lycoming version) or the ELECTRIC MASTER key switch (TAE version) to ON. S Read OAT indication. S Set the ALT/BAT switch (Lycoming version) or the ELECTRIC MASTER key switch (TAE version) to OFF. Davtron M803 only. The OAT indicator must indicate the ambient temperature ±1°.
(5) Astrotech LC2: If necessary, set time and date. Davtron M803: S If necessary, set the time. Refer to equipment manufacturer's manuals, or to Supplement E1 to the Airplane Flight Manual. Refer to equipment manufacturer's manuals, or to Supplement E4 to the Airplane Flight Manual.
(6) CO Detector: S Close the CO DETECT- circuit breaker S Set the ALT/BAT switch to ON. S Do an operational check by depressing the CO test/reset switch. S Verify the unit can be shut off with the circuit breaker. CO Detector only
(7) Install the instrument panel cover. Refer to Section 25-10.
% 3. Calibrate the CO-Detector
% The CO-detector must be sent to the manufacturer for calibration.
