Examine the torque box for wear or damage.
(a)
Examine the torque box for cracks.
1) If the wear or damage is more than the limits, repair the torque box (SRM 54-30-02).
(b)
Examine the torque box for nicks, gouges, and corrosion.
1) If the wear or damage is more than the limits, repair the torque box (SRM 54-30-02).
(c)
Examine the torque box for holes and punctures. 1) Holes or punctures in the torque box are not permitted.
D.
Put the airplane back to its usual condition.

THRUST REVERSER LATCH BAND ANCHOR STRAP - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. The latch band anchor strap will be referred to as the anchor strap in this procedure.
B. This procedure has two tasks. The first task shows how to remove the anchor strap from the latch band. The second task shows how to install the anchor strap on the latch band.
C. Find the latch band anchor strap on the fan case after you open the fan cowl panels.
