Remove the Power Unit (Fig. 401)

 CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE THE POWER UNIT WITH THE THRUST REVERSER IN THE
_______ OPEN POSITION. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS, DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
 (1)  Disconnect the electrical connectors from the power unit.

 CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE TO QUICKLY CLEAN THE HYDRAULIC FLUID WHICH FALLS. IF YOU DO NOT CLEAN THE HYDRAULIC FLUID, IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
 (2)  Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the RH and LH ports on the power unit.
 (a)  Install the protection caps on the ports and the hydraulic lines.
 NOTE: This will prevent hydraulic fluid leaks during the power

 unit removal.

Turn the vent plug clockwise to seal the vent.

 (4)  
Remove the mounting bolts and washers which attach the unit to the strut.


 (a)  Make a record of the bolt location.

 (5)  Remove the power unit from the strut.
