Examine the tension latches for wear or damage.
(a)
Look for cracks in the tension latch housing.
1) If you find cracks, replace the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-01/401).
(b)
Examine the hook of the tension latch for damage.
1) If you find damage, repair the tension latch
(SRM 54-30-90).
2) If the wear or damage is more than the limits, specified by SRM 54-30-90, replace the tension latch (AMM 78-31-04/401).

Examine the eye bolt for damage.
1) If you find damage, repair the tension latch
(SRM 54-30-90).
