 WARNING:_______MAKE SURE YOU CORRECTLY DISCONNECT THE SPEED BRAKE. AN ACCIDENTAL SPEED BRAKE MOVEMENT CAUSED BY THE THRUST LEVERS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
 (1)  Do this task: "Speed Brake Control System Deactivation"
 (AMM 27-62-00/201).

 WARNING: DO THE DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE FOR THE LEADING EDGE FLAPS BEFORE
_______ YOU DEPLOY THE THRUST REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS, INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE THRUST REVERSER, LEADING EDGE FLAPS, OR WING STRUCTURE CAN OCCUR.
 (2)
Retract and deactivate the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

Supply electrical power to the airplane (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (4)  
Supply hydraulic power to the airplane (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Open the fan cowl panels (AMM 71-11-04/201).

 CAUTION:_______ DO NOT MOVE THE THRUST REVERSER WHILE THE THRUST REVERSER OR
 THE CORE COWL PANELS ARE OPEN.  DAMAGE TO THE THRUST REVERSER
 AND THE CORE COWL PANELS CAN OCCUR.
 CAUTION:_______ DO NOT EXTEND THE THRUST REVERSER SLEEVE WHEN THE THRUST
 REVERSER IS OPEN MORE THAN 23 DEGREES.  DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE
 AND THE STRUT CAN OCCUR.
 CAUTION:_______ THE EXTENSION OF THE SLEEVE WITH THE THRUST REVERSER OPEN IS
 PERMITTED IN THE 23 DEGREE POSITION ONLY.  THE CORE COWL PANELS
 MUST BE REMOVED TO EXTEND THE SLEEVE WITH THE THRUST REVERSER
 OPEN.
 CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE THERE IS NO EQUIPMENT IN THE AREA BEHIND THE THRUST
 REVERSER.  DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE THRUST REVERSER HITS THE

 EQUIPMENT.
 (6)  
Make sure the thrust reverser is not open more than 23 degrees. S 282-100-N00

 (7)  
Make sure the core cowl panels are closed.


 S 982-101-N00 WARNING: THE DEPLOYMENT OF THE THRUST REVERSER WILL OCCUR WHEN YOU MOVE
_______ THE REVERSE THRUST LEVERS TO THE REVERSE IDLE POSITION. MAKE SURE THE AREA BEHIND THE THRUST REVERSER IS CLEAR OF PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT BEFORE YOU OPERATE THE REVERSER. INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE CAN OCCUR.
