ADJUSTMENT/TEST PROCEDURE. THE FLAPS WILL MOVE IF YOU MOVE THE
FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

On the Main Power Distribution Panel, P6: 1) 6C12 ENG 4 T/R IND 2) 6C13 ENG 4 T/R CONT 3) 6C11, ENG 4 T/R LOCK CONT 4) 6D12 ENG 3 T/R IND 5) 6D13 ENG 3 T/R CONT 6) 6D11, ENG 3 T/R LOCK CONT 7) 6E12 ENG 2 T/R IND 8) 6E13 ENG 2 T/R CONT 9) 6E11, ENG 2 T/R LOCK CONT 10) 6F12 ENG 1 T/R IND 11) 6F13 ENG 1 T/R CONT 12) 6F11, ENG 1 T/R LOCK CONT

AROUND THE THRUST REVERSERS. THE STEPS THAT FOLLOW WILL
CAUSE THE THRUST REVERSERS TO EXTEND, WHICH CAN CAUSE
INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION: THE MAXIMUM TIME YOU CAN KEEP THE ENGINE IN IDLE REVERSE
_______ IS 5 MINUTES. IF THE ENGINE IS KEPT IN IDLE REVERSE FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES, DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE CAN OCCUR.
(a)
For the applicable reverse thrust lever, pull it up and slowly aft until the thrust reverser is fully extended as told by the ground crewman. 1) Make sure the minimum PCT N1 to extend the thrust reverser
is not more than 25 percent N1.
(b)
Put the reverse thrust lever back to the stow position to retract the thrust reverser.
(c)
Quickly move the reverser thrust lever from the stow position to the interlock.
NOTE: Be prepared to time the extension of the thrust reverser
____ sleeves.
1) Hold the reverse thrust lever at the interlock.
2) Make sure the maximum deploy time of the thrust reverser is
not more than 3.0 seconds.
a) Make sure the amber REV shows on the EICAS display while the thrust reverser moves.
b) Make sure the green REV shows on the EICAS display when the thrust reverser is fully extended.
(d)
Move the reverse thrust lever forward of the interlock position to make sure that interlock is clear.
(e)
Look at the EPCS Maintenance Page on the EICAS to make sure the RP (reverser position) shows between 96 and 104 percent. 1) Push the MENU key on the CDU.
a) Make sure the main menu page shows. 2) Push LSK 6L (<CMC). a) Make sure the CMC MENU 1/2 page shows. 3) Push LSK 3L (< EICAS MAINT PAGE). a) Make sure the EICAS MAINT PAGES SYSTEMS 1/3 page shows. 4) Push the NEXT PAGE key. a) Show the adjacent pages until (<71 EPCS) shows for selection. 5) Push LSK 4L (<71 EPCS). a) Make sure the RP indication shows on the auxiliary EICAS display.
